"Michael is very excited to be going to TT camp again this summer, for his third time... I am very impressed with what a thoughtful and nice guy Tim is, even though he is such a famous hockey player. He is a great role model for kids."

Mother of Michael Warren, 12, Defenseman, Amherst, MA

Hockey Season Updates from Players & Parents

Sam Fath came to our camp as a novice goalie two years ago.  His mom wasn't even sure if he had all the correct goalie equipment. Fast forward... and Sam just had a great tournament weekend in Canada.  He took home player of the game for the first game.  He also won the squirt goalie shoot-out against other goalies from two Canadian and a NJ team.  He was the only goalie to have a complete shut-out during the shoot-out competition. Sam will be coming back for his third summer of TT Hockey Camp, now with his little brother Brendan. Congratulations Sam!    -Timmy

Dear Tim - My name is Gabe. I am from Auburn, Maine and I am a forward. I want to learn

how to skate faster and have better puck control.  That is what I want to learn at camp

this year. I love to watch you play. My sister is coming to camp also. She is a goalie and the

back of her mask is painted like yours.  We are both excited.

   See you in Maine!

Gabriel Sappington, 10 years old, Forward, Auburn, ME

I came to camp with a burning desire to be a successful goalie. The

camp taught me amazing technical skills that i never would have

learned anywhere else. These lessons are benefiting me all season.

The coaches went above and beyond the call of work to make my

stay successful; improving my on-ice abilities, giving equipment help and

skate hollow advice. Tim Thomas was one of the nicest people i have met, and

took time to answer all the questions I had. I will be back for my 3rd

   summer- amazing experience.

Jamie Hilts, 16 years old, Georgetown, ON, Canada

Timmy- This was Jason’s third year here, and he loves it more every year.  He made huge improvements and he is thrilled about it.  He has loved both on and off ice sessions.  It was a first camp for Daniel, my younger seven-year old.  He was terrified to start camp on Monday- he had a stomach ache, he changed his mind about going to camp etc.  My appreciation and thanks for making camp so wonderful.  After the first day, Daniel couldn’t wait to go back every day.  As for me, I think the camp gets more organized and flows better every year.

Mother of Jason and Daniel Drebber, Woodstock, VT

Macayla attended camp last year.  And coming back this year, I am just as pleased with the staff and on-ice drills.  She isn’t doing the same thing as last year, coaches are patient and make it fun for players as well as parents.  It’s a great experience for all!  Keep up the great work!

Mother of Macayla King, Littleton, NH

Timmy- I think that every aspect of the camp has been a great experience for my son.  He is a quiet kid who does not say a whole lot.  I wasn’t sure how he would like the camp, not knowing anyone and being in unfamiliar grounds.  However, this is now my son Jacob’s second year and for the second time he has asked me if I can save my $ so he can come to TT camp again.  He has told me every day after camp with excitement in his voice everything he did.  I can’t ask for any more than that!  Fantastic job to all.  Thanks again!

Father of Jacob Trowt, Forward, Wilmington, VT

Jordan Manning will be returning to our camp for her fourth summer.  However, in the early morning of December 8th, 2010, her friend, 6 year old Charlotte O'Shea, passed away after a lengthy battle with a rare form of Pediatric brain cancer known as AT/RT.  Jordan pledged to support funding for pediatric cancer research through the Jimmy Fund by collecting pledges every time she posts a shutout. Jordan had hoped to be able to share her progress with Charlotte, but she will buckle down and pursue perfection in memory of Charlotte. Great Leadership!     -Timmy

Dear Tim- Not only did my son have a great overall experience at your camp, he learned that having a role model at his age (12) is an important part of growing up.  And learning about nutrition and taking care of your body is a key part of being a good athlete… Thank you for caring so much about these young hockey players.

Stacie Green, Mother of Matthew Green, Littleton, MA

Tim- My son enjoyed the entire program.  It is good to have a “big game” and for the kids to see that they are still regular down to earth people with strong work ethics.        - Father of Charles Sanborn, Scarborough, Maine
